Billericay Artificial Grass Installation
This was a previous client who has moved house and wanted Easigrass installed into their back garden.
This was a back garden that was bigger than their previous house so getting the logistics right was crucial for this to all work well and come together to give the lovely finish that was achieved.
Two teams were used as Easigrass Essex & Hertfordshire was under a time constraint of just four days to get this garden completed.
Firstly there was over 20 tonnes of soil to remove along with an old shed that the client did not want to keep any more.
A grab lorry and skips were used to remove all the waste from site along with a further grab lorry bringing all the MOT type one in loose bulk. It took the team a day just to install the 30 tonnes of MOT into the garden area and get this all compacted down to create a nice levelled, smooth finish to the drainage system of the base.

53 linear metres of sleeper edge was then install creating the boundary between the flower beds and grass fitting area.
This was made tricky as we had to cut the sleepers around a tree which had a preservation order on it.
Once this had been completed, 8 tonnes of granite dust was installed and compacted and bonded onto the MOT giving the smooth finish that the base should have.
Then the artificial grass, which the client had chosen our pet-friendly grass the “Easi-Pet” grass. This is a 35 mm pile of grass with a lovely colour finish for the garden.
To finish the garden areas off, we helped install a climbing frame for the children which completed the look of the garden and gave the client exactly what he requested and required.
The overall effect of the change within the garden looks excellent, with a customer very happy he chose Easigrass again for his artificial grass installation.
In all it took our teams 3 full days (we got lucky with the weather) and completed this 296 m2 area.
